2009 Brooklyn Halloween Show Poster

Here it is! The poster for this year’s Brooklyn Halloween show. Another wonderful job by Greg Follender, who will also play one of the starring roles in this year’s show. Last year he played the Golem, in ANCIENT HORRORS, and the year before that the Frankenstein monster, AND has conceived of and drawn the posters for each of those shows.

Anyways……….We can’t believe how fast Oct. 31 is approaching. So much to do, but we WILL be ready!

This year (as you may know) the show has moved to the back. It is now on Waverly ave between Willoughby and DeKalb ave. The entire block will be closed to traffic and besides our show Pam Fleming will also be leading her band through some ominous “jazzy” musical numbers. For the first time our show will be presented in an enclosed area. What area you ask? Come to Waverly, and see for yourself.

Oh, and of course the usual life size monsters will  be there to greet everyone. Count Dracula, The Mummy, Mr. Hyde, The Wolfman, The Frankenstein Monster, and The Phantom of the Opera. Make sure to bring plenty of compliments as those fellows will always be more friendly if they receive a good compliment. Things like….

“I love the way you had your hair done Wolfman!”

OR MAYBE

“You don’t look a day over 350 Frankenstein!”

OR BRING GIFTS

Bring the Mummy a reincarnated Egyptian princess.

OR

A quart of A- blood for Dracula

OR

A new violin for the Phantom.

I guess I will just leave it up to you though. Of course, and as usual,  you must be wearing some sort of a costume to receive candy. Sorry………..but with all the effort we put into our shows we expect people to show up in the spirit of Halloween. Remember it’s………..

TRICK OR TREAT

Not just give me some candy because I showed up.

With that I will leave you with a musical clip to put you into the mood.

Godzilla 1954

Best,

Robert
