Yeah I know. Halloween in March???
Since one of the main purposes of this site is our Halloween show though……….it is a valid question around these parts. It is this time of year that we here at Brooklyn Halloween central plan this year’s show. Unlike the current disaster that is the Broadway production of Spider Man our show will HAVE TO BE ready to go when we say it’s ready to go. For us that day is October 31 2011.
There is so much to plan, build and rehearse. Concept, sets, costumes, special effects, music, candy, crowd control, volunteers, donations AND the beer for our post performance toast. Heh.
I am going to assume that since you are reading this post you may also be interested or involved in your own Halloween plans. Maybe you ant to make a killer costume this year, or scare the pants off the kids with a display at your house. Possibly a cool and atmospheric party or maybe even your own Halloween show.
If you really want to make it special though please don’t wait until the last minute. You can start the ball rolling right now. You can decide what you want to be, for instance, and then slowly begin collecting the materials you need. Then start building! Maybe you need the extra time to test out something like makeup or your concept to see if it will work or not. Whatever it is….if you have decided you want to make it more special this year then get started now. Once October arrives you will be so glad you did.
